I never got a chance to finish my sleep post, but I’ll see what I can do over the weekend. This weekend I’m attending the North West England IST Meet Up near Manchester to talk Jamboree Top Tips and I’m a little excited it has to be said.
But today is the 22nd February, the Founders Birthday. BP would be 162 today. This summer we’ll be privileged to share the 112th Birthday of this absolutely amazing Movement with the World in West Virginia.
I found today, as I wrote my annual “Happy Birthday BP” post on Facebook reflecting.
As a movement we exist in all but four countries of the world, we are over 38 Million individual Scouts. Across the globe, in communities large and small, urban and rural we exist.
We provide unique, life changing adventure for Young People all over the world. We develop Young People all over the world with skills that will help them through their lives.
Scouting has definitely changed my life for the better.
The Jamborees are another unique part of that.
